And then there was one…

Pumpkin Ice Cream

Doing our part for Halloween

First off, I have a confession to make. Despite being born a left hander, I’m more comfortable using the right hand while in the kitchen. Erm make that two. Besides making ice cream, I’m not particularly active in the kitchen.

With that out of the way, lets move on to the crux of this post. While I wait for my other two partners to finalized their WordPress pen names, I figure it would be good to discuss about what we planning to do with this blog and also our business.

Who are we?

We are three chums who know each other since secondary school days. An interesting commonality is that the three of us are all left handed which kind of explains a part of this blog url. The other part is a product of our bravery or foolishness, is our decision to venture into the F&B business.

What is our product?

Ice cream!

The other day a friend of mine quoted Thomas Edison on his Facebook which goes like this:

“If I find 10,000 ways something won’t work, I haven’t failed. I am not discouraged, because every wrong attempt discarded is another step forward.”

After a year of research, countless failures and even tasting melted plastic from an overworked blender, we are slowly but surely inching towards a product that we are confident that will excite the tastebuds.

I’ll leave the details to our chief craftsman in another post.

What is this blog about?

The blog basically serves two purpose;  a chronicle of the process in setting up our ice cream shop and more importantly as a platform to engage you, the readers.

We are a stage where we are armed with only our dreams and some paltry sum of money. No shop, no name, no logo. So expect to see a flurry of posts in the coming months on our search for our location, our identity and *gasp* our opening!

Its our belief that ice cream is better eaten when shared with others. Likewise, if you have any suggestions, be it on ice cream flavours or any other aspects on our venture, let us know!
